Hello and welcome to Divorce Cures, the home page of the “Kids Come First Coalition.” My name is Ron Lasorsa and I am the executive director of the Coalition. I’m not a lawyer, a psychologist, or a social worker. I am just a father, who has been put through the ringer during an “adversarial divorce.” I created this coalition to help families struggling through divorce find an alternative to the traditional divorce process. Divorce Cures is unlike any other divorce support site available on the web today for 3 reasons. First -Your children’s well being is our #1 Priority. Other sites on the net are sponsored by large law firms and mega advertising conglomerates, which typically use referral lists as a form of revenue. Many so-called “resources” promote traditional divorce practices that often lengthen, misuse and abuse the system. The Kids Come First Coalition operates this site and is made up of a group of likeminded individuals working for the greater good of children affected by separation and divorce. Second -You will find a broad range of carefully selected products and services that minimize the emotional and financial impact your divorce has on your children. Everyone associated with the Coalition is an advocate of collaborative and mediated divorce with the true best interests of children being of paramount concern. The Coalition does not champion the rights of one parent over another. Consequently, Divorce Cures recommends alternative ideas and innovative solutions you can use to help you navigate through the divorce process with carefully selected professionals including, but not limited to legal, financial, parenting and wellness resources. Third -You have the ability to change the system. The Kids Come First Coalition is also an activist organization whose objective is to change the existing system. We believe that the current structure encourages and incentivizes the dissolution of the family unit through an adversarial divorce process. We believe in preserving parent-child relationships. The members of the coalition have decided they must collaborate and rely upon the free market (of both ideas and finances) to advance our cause. As a result, we use a portion of the proceeds from this site to lobby for legislative change. I hope you will use this site, as it was intended, which was to help you find healthier and less stressful methods to deal with your divorce. Thank you for visiting and we welcome your future support!
